ORDERS FOR SYDNEY

This article came to me by way of Perth, Australia, from Gary Ellsberry. It's the only one of its kind, anywhere. I would like to request that Gary be given credit for supplying this article.
As you can see, this was the original copy of orders received by BENNINGTON to proceed ENROUTE to Sydney. The story behind the article: Gary was either on the "bridge" or in CIC (Combat Information Center) when it came in. After it was read, Gary put it in his pocket. It then went in to the cruisebook and stayed until I made contact with Gary and asked for certain data from the Sydney papers or libraries.
