Most of our family is in, or was in, the military.
My son is a staff sergeant in the air force and is in avionics. He is head of the flight line in S.C.
My cousin is a Lt. Colonel, Retired from the air force.
His father in-law is a Full Bird Colonel, Retired from the air force.
My father was very proud of serving aboard the Bennington.
In fact he always wanted his license plates on the car to be CV20, but a career person he would never be.
Way back, my Polish grandfather was in the Polish Cavalry,
and my Italian grandfather was very proud to be in the Italian army in the battle for Tripoli.
Even my sister-in-law married a career military man in the Airforce.

I am saying this because there really is something about this running in families.
Some people are forced to serve and some do it with pleasure.
