Here is a official Navy photo of an FJ-4 of VMF 232 aboard the USS Bennington in September of 1958.
VMF 232 went aboard the Bennington as she passed through Hawaii enroute to WestPac during the Quemoy Matsu Crisis.
The squadron was transferd to NAS Atsugi.
The second photo is of FJ-4 (BuNo139516) now at the Historic Aviation Museum Tyler, TX.
That plane was in the squadron at the time 232 went aboard.
