I enjoyed looking it over and did a search for my dad's name in the crew listing. He is not listed. Dad served aboard during WWII and was aboard when hit by the typhoon. I understand he served on the flight deck and wore, I think, a blue cap as an identifier. His name was Lloyd F. Boose and was from Lancaster, Pa. Dad died 11 Oct 1987 of a heart attack.
