Hello

Someone sent me your URL address - Apparently they got my name through a
link from my website - http://www.beardmore.com - where I mention some of
my family history. My father ( Carlos. M Beardmore ) proudly served on the
USS Bennington during the later years of WWII as a Navy pilot. I'm VERY
proud of my dad for his military involvement during that time in US
history. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago. He would be
absolutely thrilled to know someone has made such an effort as you have to
keep the memories of the Bennington alive.

I've checked your records of crew members and don't see my dad's name
listed.... Is there any way that I could get his name added to your list??
Is there possibly any information that I could provide you? My mother is
still alive and well and has most of dad's war-time momentos. I  would love
to get as much information as you care to share in regards to the ship and
it's history! THANKS for contacting me.
