Sir: May I say how saddened I was to read in your website, that the
Bennington was sold to India, for scrap...It is not a fair tribute to her
crews and country.  I served on the USS Yorktown CVS-10 and am glad She did
not meet that fate...She too, was equally, a proud and feisty Lady.
